Blue Sapphire drops, hand-set in Sydney. I made these to catch light without trying too hard, the sides hold the stone but leave it open enough to show off the gorgeous colour.

Sterling silver, 25mm drop. The setting cradles a 3mm round sapphire, open at the sides so light gets through and the blue stays alive rather than flat.

Good for the days that run long and the ones that matter. Throw them on with jeans, or let them do the work at dinner.
