The Jewellery
Is everything really handmade?
Yes, every single piece. I design and make all of it myself in my Sydney studio, in small batches. There is no factory, no production line. When you order something, it has been shaped, finished, and packed by my hands.
What materials do you use?
Solid sterling silver and solid gold. I don't use plated metals. Plating wears off over time. Solid silver and gold don't. These pieces are designed to last for years, not seasons.
Will sterling silver tarnish?
Sterling silver can develop a light patina over time, especially if it is stored away from air and light. The good news is it is easy to restore. A soft cloth and a gentle polish will bring it straight back. The more you wear it, the better it looks. Everyday wear actually helps keep the tarnish away.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Store it in the pouch it arrives in when you are not wearing it. Keep it away from perfume, moisturiser, and chlorine. To clean it, use a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, warm water and a drop of mild dish soap works well. Dry it thoroughly afterwards.
Are the pieces comfortable for everyday wear?
That is central to how I design. Every piece is considered for how it sits on the body. The weight, the balance, how it fastens. Most of my customers wear their pieces daily and forget they have them on. That is exactly the intention.
Sizing & Fit
How do I know what size ring to order?
Each ring listing includes sizing information. Rings are made to order and take approximately 10 days to craft to your size, so please take a moment to measure carefully before ordering. If you are between sizes or unsure, email me at store@pkd.com.au before you place your order and I will help you work it out.
How do I measure my ring size at home?
The easiest way is to wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimetres. That gives you your circumference. Alternatively, if you have a ring that fits well, measure the internal diameter in millimetres. Use these measurements to find your size in the guide below.

What about bangles? How do I know if they will fit?
Each bangle listing includes the internal diameter and notes on how it fits. Most of my bangles are open cuffs, so they have some flex. If you have any questions about a specific style, get in touch before you order.
Orders & Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
I dispatch within 2 working days from my Sydney studio. Ring Orders will be shipped within 10 Days Most Australian orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days on standard post. Orders over $120 are sent Express Post, which is typically 1 to 2 business days once dispatched. You will receive tracking details as soon as it is on its way.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on all Australian orders over $70. Express Post is free on orders over $120. For orders under $70, standard shipping is a flat $10.50.
Do you ship internationally?
I do. Flat rate shipping to New Zealand is AUD $28, and AUD $35 to Canada and the European Union. If you are somewhere else, email me at store@pkd.com.au and I will work out postage for you.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You will receive tracking details from Australia Post as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
Returns & Exchanges
What if it is not right for me?
I offer a 14 day return window from the date you receive your order. Email me at store@pkd.com.au and I will sort it out. Pieces need to be returned in their original, unworn condition with the original packaging. Return postage is at the buyer's cost and I would recommend sending it with tracking.
What if something arrives damaged?
Please get in touch straight away with a photo of the piece and the packaging. I will make it right.
Gifting
Is the packaging nice enough to give as a gift?
Every order comes beautifully packaged. It is ready to give as is. If you would like to add a gift box and ribbon, you can add gift wrapping at checkout for a small fee.
Can I include a personal message?
Yes. Add your message in the notes at checkout and I will include a handwritten card with your order.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, digital gift cards are available in the store if you want to let someone choose their own piece.
Custom & Commission Work
Do you take commissions?
Yes. If you have something specific in mind, a particular size, a modification to an existing design, or something entirely new, email me at store@pkd.com.au with the details and I will let you know if it is something I can do. Commission pieces take longer and are priced individually.
