Are your hoop earrings lightweight?
Yes. I make every pair to be light on the ear, so they're comfortable from morning to night and won't pull on your earlobes.
How do the hoops close?
Most of my hoops click shut at the back in one easy movement, so you can put them in without a mirror. A few styles have a hook that simply slides through the ear, and some have a post with a butterfly back. Each product page tells you which closure that pair has.
Are sterling silver hoops good for sensitive ears?
My hoops are solid sterling silver, never plated, so there's no coating to wear through to a cheaper base metal. Many people who react to costume jewellery wear sterling silver comfortably.
Will my silver hoops tarnish?
Sterling silver naturally darkens over time, especially when it's left out in the open air. Wearing them often actually helps. A quick rub with a silver cloth brings the shine back, and keeping them in their pouch between wears slows tarnish down.
Where are your hoops made?
I make every pair myself in my studio in Sydney's inner west.
Which size should I choose?
It really comes down to how you like to wear them. Smaller hoops sit close to the lobe and are easy to wear every day. Larger hoops make more of a statement, and because they're still light, you can wear them all day too.
