My bangles are round with a softly bubbled top, the same shape your hand makes when you bring your thumb and little finger together. That is what makes them easy to put on.

Putting it on

  • Hold the bangle with the smooth underside facing down, sitting under your palm
  • Slide it over your hand, letting the rounded side follow the natural shape of your hand
  • Once it is past your hand and onto your wrist, rotate it so the bubbled top faces up
  • It settles in close and comfortable, shaped to your wrist instead of sitting loose

To take it off, turn the smooth side back under your palm and slide it off the same way.

Caring for your bangle

Solid sterling silver wears beautifully and asks for very little. A soft polishing cloth brings back the shine, worked gently around the curves of the bubbled top. Any tarnish is the silver reacting to air and skin over time, and a light polish lifts it straight away. If the satin finish softens, a careful rub with a Scotch Brite pad following the line of the curves brings the texture back. Take it off before swimming or showering and it keeps its glow for years.

The fit and feel

The shape matches your hand when your thumb and little finger meet, so it slides on without a struggle and then sits snug once you rotate it. The bubbled top gives it a tactile, hand worked character that catches the light as you move, while the smooth underside keeps it close against your wrist. Light enough to forget you have it on, secure enough for every day.
